Xolve doesn’t only take on full design responsibility for a project, sometimes our clients simply need an imaginative draftsman to take their visual or verbal ‘sketches’ and transform them into working drawings.  For example a set designer’s artistic design might need to be formalised and resolved technically and fully defined dimensionally. Xolve can do this. Once the designer has communicated the design to use through discussion and illustration, we can produce CAD models and a full set of working drawings. We can ensure the designer’s vision is faithfully reproduced in the stage and set, whilst satisfying performance and production requirements.

At Xolve we see this as essential in any project, no matter what size or complexity. That is why we have developed a system, integrated with our Design Management tools, to ensure we have total control over all project data whether it has been created by Xolve or another member of the design team.

 

In a recent example Xolve was responsible for managing the CAD data and liaising between the production team and two major staging companies. We provided the expertise to ensure the stage set could be used with two fundamentally different staging systems simultaneously on the same tour.
