A4-A3 Document Scanning
Let us convert your paper archive onto a few CD's. With DataSaves retrieval software your company can save time, money and have confidence that your documentation is safely archived.
Your document storage problems can be simply out sourced to DataSave where your documents will be converted to digital formats knowing that quality, confidentiality and security is utmost.
DataSave currently convert over half a million A4 documents per month, and with using the latest technology, hi-speed colour scanning is now also available.
A2 - A0 Drawing Scanning
DataSave can also digitize your full scale drawings. This ensures that your legacy and current drawings, be them design parts, plans, maps or mechanical drawings are safely stored on our warranted CD ROM's.
We understand the value of these technical drawings and by converting your paper drawings to a digital format, these drawings can be retrieved and viewed for many years to come, safely knowing that these drawings will not deteriate.
The images can also be converted in to many other formats allowing your drawings to be transferred onto your CAD system, without the need to re-draw the whole design.
A4-A3 Colour Document Scanning
DataSave have recently invested in the latest colour hi-speed scanners and can now offer our customers digital conversion of their colour documents.
This is most helpful when graphs, maps and charts have been used and key's designed through the use of colour.
Also with the use of these new colour scanners documents that were previously unable to be scanned due to such poor quality of the original document can now be converted using the latest VRS software.
Aperture Card Scanning
35mm Microfilm converted to an electronic image which can be viewed in most CAD systems. Most standard formats available. e.g. Group 4 tiff.
Depending on the original quality of microfilming we can store several 1000's on a CD which is easy to use, view, print and distribute via email.
Microfilm Scanning
DataSave can covert your existing microfilm archive to a digital format and store them on a CD ROM for a more cost effective and convenient document retrieval solution.
Eight rolls of microfilm or 100 microfilm jackets can fit onto a single CD ROM which can then be simply accessed from you desktop PC rather than an expensive, high maintenance Microfilm reader unit.
Colour Photo Scanning
DataSave Limited have recently invested in a state-of-the-art high speed colour production scanner, this now allows DataSave to scan high quality colour photo's at a highly competitive price. These images can be stored in JPEG or colour Tiff formats.
This is idea for manual that contain photo's that you require to be converted to Colour PDF documents to send out to represent your company for tenders or to work for your clients.
Document Indexing
For a quicker retrieval solution DataSave can offer an indexing retrieval solution, with using DataSave's DocView software, which is free of charge to all DataSave scanning customers. A database driven system can return your required document to your desktop PC in seconds.
This indexing solution is created using open database technology and therefore can be implemented into your current document management systems.
PDF Conversion 
With using the experience at DataSave and the widely used Adobe PDF format, DataSave can convert you paper manuals and other documentation to professional PDF documents. DataSaves latest investment in an additional state-of-the-art colour scanner also allows colour PDF files to be created.
DataSave have several current customers who combine DataSaves scanning and PDF convertion know how to create proposal documents and to create manuals in an electronic format to pass on to their own clients for a more professional touch.
Document Storage
DataSave provide a deep archive storage service to complement electronic conversion to CD ROM. This is mainly for paper documents that are within two years of the retention expiry date. The documents are required to be placed into standard size banker boxes to enable effective storage and manifesting. A database index is created for retrieval methods, several options are available for client retrieval, from simple delivery of the banker box containing the required document to the scanning of the document and secure distribution via email or CD ROM.
  
DocView Software
DataSave have designed and developed their own document retrieval solution. This was done as many of the packages available, incur license fees and require training to the end users. DocView was designed with the end user in mind to ensure that training is at a minimum, and that document retrieval is a quick process.
DocView is also capable of running on your corporate network, allowing multiple users to browse and retrieve their scanned documents or drawings simultaneously.
DocView allows users to view, print and distribute via email simply.
DovView is also available for non-customers of DataSave at a cost of £299 but is supplied free of charge along with support for all our scanning customers.
Retrieve It - Online Retrieval
Retrieve It is the latest document management solution brought to you by DataSave allowing you to store and retrieve your documents on the web. Be it purchase invoices to full scale A0 engineering drawings these can all be scanned to digital formats and hosted and retrieved via Retrieve It.

Storage onto CD ROM
With the mass distribution and use of the CD Rom in all types of industry and departments, document storage and retrieval has never been so efficient. Users can now access their archived and live documents from their own desktop computer by simply querying a CD Rom.
Between 10,000 and 20,000 images can be stored on a single CD Rom, this value depends in the document type and quality.
DataSave always provide there customers with a master CD Rom and a working copy. This is the procedure to enforce a disaster recovery strategy for all there customers allowing a copy of the documentation to be stored in a fire safe or off site location.
Your documents on your Network
Many companies these days have in place local area networks (LAN's), and in some cases Wide area networks (WAN's). With the use of DataSaves DocView retrieval software, for companies who will find themselves with a series of CD Roms or who require several departments to use the digital archive. DataSaves technology can put your documents on your network. This not only increases accessibility company wide, but can also increase retrieval speed and therefore efficiency in the work place.

Secure Document Destruction
Security and data integrity is at the for most of DataSaves document solutions. Once the scanned images have been passed through quality control and the client is 100% satisfied with the end result. Datasave disposes of all paper documentation through a secure shredding and pulping process allowing the paper to be re-cycled at a further date.
Customers may also have their documents returned if they do not wish to take advantage of this free secure destruction.

DataSave is located at the front of the Landywood Enterprise Park just off Holly Lane.
From the motorway leave the M6 at Junction 11. Take the exit off the island sign posted Willenhall. Follow the road past the Holly Bush garden center and straight over the first island. After approximatley 2 miles take a left into Old Landywood Lane. Continue down this lane and you will pass a small hump back bridge. DataSave Limited is located to your left.
