Sprockets and plate wheels can be hobbed or milled to achieve a wide range of pitches and designs, giving our customers maximum flexibility and choice. With 40 years of experience designing and manufacturing sprockets and platewheels, we have the technical experience to give our customers the maximum support they require.

Spur Gears

We can offer Spur Gears up to 1000mm dia External and 1000mm Internal using Hobbing or Gear Shaping processes. Crowning is also available.

We offer a 'cut only' sub-contract service where we cut spur gears using customers free issue material or we can supply complete - from design of the gear, through ISO 9001-2000 assured manufacturing, to delivery. [email protected]

Helical Gears

Helical Gears up to 1000mm dia can be supplied with or without Heat Treatment and or Gear Grinding. [email protected]

Internal Gears

Internal Gears up to 1000mm dia can be cut with a maximum gear face of 230mm. [email protected]

Our extensive Splining facilities include machines that can cut splined shafts of up to 3m long and 300mm Diameter.

We also have the ability to cut internal splines using either broaching or gear shaping methods. We can produce splined shafts with internal diameters of 1m and 200mm face width. [email protected]  

A very comprehensive range of Hobs and Cutters are available which enables us to cut our numerous spline designs.

We can produce special splined shafts with customer specific features such as minimum backlash for increased relibility and quieter running and increase capacity by heat treating the splined shafts.  

We also offer a 'cut only service' where we can spline customers 'free issue' shafts.

We also offer this range of couplings with integral brake drums, with the brake drums being up to 630mm diameter.

The economic single disc concept for low to medium duty applications. Maximum Torque Capacity up to 1600Nm. Bore Capacity up to 105mm.

Our Flexi-disc range of flexible couplings offers an unrivalled package of performance, features and versatility.

Performance
The Flexi-disc range of metal disc couplings can transmit torques up to 260,000 Nm and accept maximum bore diameters up to 370 mm. High operating speeds up to 24,000 rpm can be achieved with dynamic balancing.

Features
Flexi-disc offers maintenance free operation, zero backlash, torsional rigidity, low reactional forces, good chemical and corrosion resistance with stainless steel disc packs and no fretting corrosion.

Versatility
Flexi-disc offers a multitude of different configurations including single element, double element, close coupled, dropout versions, variable length spacers and is also able to meet API 610 and API 671 specifications.
